Welten: Their music is characterized by electro-acoustic-dynamic sound movements. In these developments, associative spaces appear, which converge in fragmentary narrations. With embrace, Leipzig-based indie-jazz band WELTEN celebrates its 10th anniversary with their unique pictorial, almost cinematic sound. But not just that - alongside founding members Valentin Mühlberger (wurlitzer, moog, vocals), Lukas Backs (flute & alto flute, percussion) and Laurenz Welten (alto and tenor saxophone, clarinet, bass clarinet), embrace also features two entirely new members. Anna-Lucia Rupp is heard on voice, synths and percussion while Raphael Schuster plays the drums and found objects.
